About Elizabeth

My goal is to provide a stable & safe environment where kids can have fun & explore while also staying within the boundaries set by their parents. I personally have learned much from working directly with kids. I've traveled to 18 countries, lived in Europe & Asia, taught KG for 2. 5 years & worked as a TA with Gr. 3-5 students for 8 years. I have worked in a multicultural environment with people from many different ethnic backgrounds. I believe children are full of potential. I like to be intentional with kids: doing projects, playing games, talking & asking questions. I try to model what I hope to see children emulate: interacting with others lovingly & respectfully; communicating clearly & kindly to express thoughts & emotions; listening attentively while others are speaking; following guidelines set out by parents; being truthful; owning up to mistakes and taking responsibility for one's actions, etc. I look forward to interacting & getting to know your kids through babysitting!
