About Elizabeth

I was a hospice volunteer for 5 years while I was in college after my mother died in hospice at St. Mary's. I earned a Master's in Therapeutic Recreation and was hired as the Recreation Director for the Senior Center of Richmond. I'd describe my personality as fun, happy and dedicated. I like caring for seniors because I learn so much from hearing their stories, and I want to honor them by caring with dignity. I'm looking for a job that is the right fit for both of us. I started caring for seniors when I was 21 as a hospice volunteer. In my spare time, I like to garden, walk in the neighborhood, visit with friends and go camping. One thing you should know about me is I am an empath and I understand how difficult it can be to grow old and need support. My top three skills are cooking/nutrition, organization and problem solving.
