About Elise

Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me as a caregiver and educator. I have bachelors degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as a graduate degree in Special Education. I have been a certified teacher for the past 8 years. I also have extensive experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, nannying, being a camp counselor/camp director, and providing respite care. My passion lies in supporting individual learning, well-being, and independence, while also providing reliable care for families. I am compassionate and friendly, and I always respect the independence of those I care for. I am also skilled at de-escalating stressful situations. I keep families informed with verbal updates, always following their preferred communication methods. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid.
