About Elise

I am a grad student working toward a degree in clinical counseling. I am not licensed to provide your children with therapy, but I do have a strong educational background in child development and mental health. I'm a crafty, nature-loving person who is sure to keep kiddos well-entertained! I started working with kids when I was in high school as a babysitter, tutor, and assistant dance teacher. In my undergrad I helped teach dance classes and workshops for kids 10-18. During COVID I taught a series of online art classes for ages 8-12. In grad school I've assisted in summer programming at Perkins School for the Blind. I have experience with special needs, both from growing up with siblings with autism and my work experience. My skills include a lot of patience, being a good friend to kids, and appreciating whimsy. Kids have boundless energy and great imaginations. I'm there to support that every step of the way!
