About Elise

I have many years of experience working with children. I have volunteered at numerous activities involving children such as local daycares, schools, and camps, including the summer Special Olympics. I was an athlete for the majority of my life and enjoyed volunteering for Special Olympics every summer since I entered college and up until I graduated. I have also worked in daycares, athletic facilities, camps, preschools, and held professional nannying/babysitting jobs. I have three years of teaching experience in preschools as a teacher's aide and as a student teacher. I have been a nanny/babysitter for families with up to four children and multiple pets at one time and have cared for children as newborns (only a few days old) as a night nurse/nanny. I also love family pets, especially cats and dogs. My experience with children as well as the knowledge gained from specific courses during my undergraduate studies has inspired me to work with children for the rest of my life.
