About Elisabetta

I recently graduated from Columbia University with a B. A. this past spring. I have always had a passion for teaching, bringing creativity and fun into students' learning experience. In addition to robust one-on-one tutoring experience, I worked over 500 hours as an Americorps member at Breakthrough Austin, a rigorous college-ready summer program. At Columbia, I taught a TASC English Level I course through Community Impact for adults studying to take the high-school equivalency exam. Here, I learned to assess student levels through fluency tests and differentiate my lesson accordingly to meet each student's particular comfort level. I also worked as a teacher through the Freedom & Citizenship Program by working alongside esteemed professors and observing their methods within the classroom.
