Being a great caregiver has been very rewarding and is one of the most important things I do. I am compassionate and empathetic by nature and my favorite thing to do is smile :) My favorite thing to receive is a smile back :) I have a special interest in memory care and feel providing a secure and loving environment where clients can feel safe, loved and have the ability to thrive is of the most importance . I have experience with Alzheimer's/dementia, medication, medication detox, quadriplegia, recovery from surgery and rebuilding strength and abilities afterward. I strive to understand the specific needs of each client and support them emotionally and physically to achieve their full potential. I am reliable, patient and conscientious. I like to cook and prepare healthy "tasty" meals and I like to care for pets too! Licensed Nursing Assistant and Certified Caregiver. CPR, AED and Basic First Aid Certification. Food Handler Certification and Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Liz came into our family at the peak of chaos and sickness. She brought with her hope, caring, perseverance and integrity. Both my parents had Parkinson’s in its advanced stages and required 24/7 care by a team of caregivers. My dad started getting UTI’s and being hospitalized frequently. At the time, we were also having a lot of caregiver turnover due to the intensity of the caregiving requirements for two Parkinson’s patients. Liz came in and quickly got things under control helping hire new caregivers and train each one. My dad loved her and trusted her implicitly as do I. She has been a godsend for our family. She took over management of the caregiving staff, managed doctor’s appointments, ordered supplies and groceries, managed the caregiver schedule and weekly payroll and on top of all that took excellent care of my parent’s daily needs. My dad frequently needed IV's administered at home and eventually was put on a feeding tube. Liz took this in stride and made sure all the caregivers were trained on providing this extra level of care. She also managed their complex medication schedule. She is beyond a miracle worker and I will be forever grateful for the loving care she provided to my parents, my sister and I. But aside from the much needed administrative and personal care, Liz has been a rock. Her many years of caregiving helped us through many medical crises and decisions. I leaned on her tremendously in my father’s last days and she did everything she could to ease the stress and emotional pain. Amazingly she did this while her own father was also seriously ill and dying. I know this was a very difficult time for her as well but she did not abandon my parents. I am certain she knew just how much we needed her and she chose to work through her family’s loss to help us. I can never repay her for this. Liz is a never-ending fountain of dedication and support for the people she takes care of as well as for her own family. It is amazing to me how much she juggles and yet operates at such a high level. Anyone would be blessed to have her caring for their loved one.
