Elisabeth was absolutely amazing with our special needs child (3.5 year old). Our little one needed the constant, never looking away for a moment sort of attention to ensure she stayed safe and Elisabeth was more than capable of ensuring she stayed safe every minute. She was always punctual (10-15 minutes early, never once late), she was compassionate and showed a tremendous amount of patience with our little girl. She never once raised her voice in frustration at our child, no matter the situation (I am a SAHM/WFH and my husband WFH so both or one of us was within earshot the entire time so I can 100% vouch for that). You could truly see how much she cared for our little one. She went above and beyond, always thinking of things to make her time with our child special. She brought her an Easter basket full of goodies and did an Easter egg hunt with her. She was in the moment with our child the entire time (which is very hard to find in a caregiver)! She was never, not once on her phone texting, surfing the internet, social media, etc when she was watching our daughter (and I've caught many of our child care providers on their phones before or not in the moment with our child, I watch very closely). Our little girl would ask when she would get to play with Elisabeth when she wasn't watching her. She was so nurturing and truly a gem! I would 100% rehire her! We moved to GA which is the only reason we had to let her go.
