Ellie has been caring for our two boys (3 and 5) during the COVID pandemic. She is loving, playful, hardworking, and a self-starter. Weather permitting, she gets them outside for lots of fresh air and sun. Activities include biking, picnicking, and fun sidewalk chalk art, all while adhering to social distancing practices. Ellie has been in charge of Zoom classes and staying on top of the boys' participation. She is fluent in English and Spanish; giving the boys some home exposure to Spanish! Ellie has done a phenomenal job getting our boys to eat well-rounded meals. where they have magically improved their veggie intake! Ellie is considerate, inquiring if I'd like a plate of what she has made for the kids. In the rare downtime that she has had, Ellie will ask if there is something that we need for her to do; laundry, groceries, organizing toys. As our needs are changing with the coming school year, we will be sad to see Ellie go and want to see her settled with a kind new family.
