About Eliana

I like tutoring because I love seeing students have the gears turning in their heads leading them to solving problems they tend to get stuck on and the joy they feel after being led to success. I'm looking for a job where I can feed young minds necessary knowledge to keep literacy alive and help the new generation crave education. I started tutoring when I was in high school and I would help middle schoolers during the summer at the library in an after school program my little brother attended at the time. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my partner and friends, go to a park and relax and write. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely reliable when it comes to scheduling and I have experience in working with children and teens, and have been told I have a gift in understanding them. My skills include patience, breaking lessons down in small segments to create real understanding and teaching independence while maintaining a guiding hand.
