Hi families! In addition to being an aunt of 4 over the past 6 years, I have built up my childcare experience through volunteering and working with youth at every opportunity. I've spent two summers as a day-time counselor for kids impacted by abuse, neglect, and the foster care system, in which I worked with a small team to make sure each child was cared for and accounted for. I spent this past semester volunteering for the Reading Buddies program at the public library, where I spent 12 weeks working one-on-one with a child to build literacy and narrative skills. I am very creative and enjoy crafts, the outdoors, and activities that provide a break from screens. I am happy to assist around the house and continue care when I am home from school!
