About Elena

Hello! My name is Elena and I have over 7 years of experience caring for children as a babysitter, nanny, and mother's helper. I also have one year of experience working as a behavior technician for children on the autism spectrum. The bulk of my in home experience has been with infants to elementary school aged children and I've worked with middle and high schoolers in the school setting. I am CPR and Safety Care certified, I have a Washington state food handlers permit, a bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies, and I speak Spanish. I love to take my young ones on nature walks, have dance parties, work on arts and crafts, and explore pretend play. My focus is always on creating a safe environment that supports cognitive, social, and emotional development. I'm in North Seattle and have my own vehicle but prefer to use public transit whenever possible. I'm ideally looking for more full time and longterm opportunities but I'm open to babysitting and part time opportunities.
