About Elena

Hi! My name is Elena and I'm 21 years old. I am very compassionate, patient, reliable, organized, helpful, responsible, and fun! I have always loved children and had a natural ability for care taking from a young age. I am the oldest of 3 siblings, and my mother had cancer, so I had to step up and take on a lot of responsibility from a young age. I took a babysitting and first aid course through NIH when I was 13, and have been sitting for families in my neighborhood and surrounding areas ever since. I also took a Childhood Development course in high school where we planned lessons and taught them to a preschool class daily. Additionally, I have worked as a camp counselor every summer at a local day camp for about 5 years. I was usually in charge of a group of 10-12 kids and guided their activities throughout the day.
