Aloha, I am an experienced outdoor educator, with a passion for providing care and support for people of all ages. During my teaching career, I have facilitated workshops with senior centers. Our classes focused on creating a space for individuals to share stories about gardens they had throughout their lifetime, making our own herbal tea bags and healing salves, painting with watercolors and singing songs together. We also invited our participants out to our farm/garden for a nature hike and garden exploration. I also helped care for my previous partner's Grandmother, who experienced dementia. I asked her questions about her life, took her on outings to the mall, cooked familiar recipes with her and spent time with her out in her garden.
