About Elena

Hello! I've been a part time dog walker for the past year, taking a pack of 8-10 dogs out for a walk every day of the week, sometimes twice in one day! I love supporting my pack and each dog individually. Their safety, health and fun is my top priority! I enjoy rewarding them with treats at the beginning middle and end of walks. I use positive reinforcement with all of my charges. I also enjoy house/pet sitting, making sure each pet feels comfortable and is well taken care of when their loved ones are away. I am a dog mom to a 4-year-old mini-Aussie mix. I love taking her for trail walks/runs. I love making sure pets are well loved and cared for! I grew up with a family dog and two cats. I have always felt connected to animals because of the wonderful relationships I was able to build with our pets at an early age. I have a background in teaching, so am aware of the importance of positive group dynamics as well as one on one care and attention to each animal's needs.
