About Eleanor

I am a mature, responsible, and nurturing caregiver available to nanny your infant, child, or children! I am a mother myself (I have a 13-year-old daughter) and have lots of experience working educationally with children of all ages (including teaching and developing curriculum for a preschool in Asheville, NC). I have provided formal and informal childcare in a variety of circumstances for years. As a stay at home mother for the first three years of my daughter's life, I am very comfortable with infants and toddlers. I am well educated (I have a Master's of Fine Arts in Visual Art), do some gardening, love spending time outdoors, and enjoy creating opportunities for young children to express themselves artistically. I have a natural, health-conscious lifestyle and some environmental sensitivities that require me to work in a nontoxic/chemical-free environment. The benefit to you is that, for the safety of your family, I can help your household make the switch to Eco-friendly cleaners, disinfectants and air fresheners if you do not already use these products.
