About Elaina

I had first started caring for children since the young age of 19. At that time, I had already had a 1-year-old daughter of my own. My first job was at a Kinder Care Learning Center where I had the pleasure of working with toddlers between the ages of 2 yrs and 3 yrs old. Several years following, I returned to work outside the home, until the birth of my second daughter in April 1990. I wanted to be a stay at home mom..... so I started sitting for children in my home. I did this for 4 yrs., and then decided to work outside the home. It wasn't until 5 yrs ago, that I found myself longing to care for children again. Since then, I have had the pleasure of caring for several children with developmental delays, such as autism, speech delay, Asperger's, and gross motor skill challenges. I know at this point in my life, I have truly found my calling. For me personally, there is nothing more gratifying than teaching and caring for children.
