I am a CHHA non smoker. Certified and experienced with Alzheimer/Hospice care/Transfers. A health care provider for over 25 years, taking care of physically and mentally challenged people of all ages and backgrounds. I own a Honda HRV 2019. It is easy to get in and out of and has plenty of room for transportation devices. I worked as an activity director, so I am very skillful at entertaining and engaging people with a variety of activities. Very experienced with mobility assistance and trained on a various selection of transportation devices. Training and experience in Foley, urostomy and colostomy care. Knowledgeable on many medical conditions as I was also a certified EMT in the past. Comfortable with pets and their care. I am Greek and a good cook. I strongly believe everyone deserves to have skilled people that truly care, help with everyday living. I know what it is like to worry about your loved one's well being, as my mother has many health issues and I have cared for her.

We interviewed and contracted with Eirini and her Team in July, 2023. They are a local Home Care provider in Salem on the North Shore of Massachusetts. After finding that they specialize in the Home Care of Alzheimer's and Memory Loss Patients, we contracted with them for home care service for our own family member who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in Nov 2020 after exhibiting Mild Cognitive Impairment for a few years previously. While each case is different, there are many similarities in care, but what was important was the staff of Eirini and her Team's understanding of how to connect with the client, whether providing personal care or companionship. Making and establishing a connection is truly important and is one of the best features our family member receives and one of the primary reasons we contracted with Eirini and her Team. In our case, the client has a fear of water and we were having difficulty overcoming personal bathing issues. They were able to work with him in this area and this has improved and developed into less of a struggle. It also helps that they are a companion and play assorted games with him, some educational and some just for fun. They also have taken him out for rides, which is something he enjoys. Another helpful action is a baseline skills test they have performed a few times to see where he has maintained or progressed to that point. This helps to teach the family how to respond to him regarding specific issues he may have. All in all, we are very pleased with the home care we receive. The staff is very professional and has been extremely reliable, with only one call-out due to illness in almost a year of service. We are happy to be able to keep our family member at home, which was, and continues to be, our initial goal - I attribute this to the assistance of the staff of Eirini and her Team. Thank You, Gloria M.
