I was the older sister to two younger siblings that are 8 and 10 years younger, so I spent a big part of my later childhood and adolescence caring for them. As an adult I have been flown up to sit for friends' kids in Seattle as well as have had regular ongoing paid sitting gigs for friends, neighbors and Clients in San Pablo, Oakland, El Cerrito and San Rafael. I do love kids, especially those between 3 and 12 years of age :) I am super happy to help with homework, actually enjoy and look forward to playing with the kids, make meals (I am vegan. but feed the kids what the parents request), and do light housework. I also like helping kids to learn how to clean up after themselves as well as learn other chores (like feeding their brother/sister animals, etc.). I have my own car and enjoy taking kids to the library, parks, pool, school, etc. if needed.

Eileen cared for my two boys, one with Aspergers and one with ADHD, and we all love her. She is a wonderful, kind-hearted, deeply caring and responsible person. She takes them on fun outings and engages deeply with them. They always have her full attention. We have moved away from the Bay Area, but my older son still talks regularly with Eileen on the phone. She has become an ongoing meaningful adult in his life, and he trusts her and knows he can turn to her for advice. I'm happy to talk on the phone with anyone who has further questions.
