About Eileen

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring and empathetic. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their stories and they're a wealth of wisdom. And I'm paying forward the kindness and care I hope to receive when I need a little help. I'm looking for a job that helps someone maintain their independence and quality of life by running errands, safely getting them to their appointments/social events, meal preparation, light house keeping and companionship. I left my corporate job and started caring for seniors when my Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, friends, dogs, cook, travel, and watch a good movie or tv show. One thing you should know about me is I'm currently the respite care giver for an 11 yr old who has autism, epilepsy, tuberous sclerosis and language delay. My skills include certified in CPR/First-Aid, attention to detail, and helping to maintain as much independence as possible and finding joy in life.
