I am a retired teacher with over 40 years of classroom experience. I have taught reading and math in 6-7-8 grades and worked in a self-contained 4th grade. My tutored students ranged in age from 5 to 14. Children enjoy my ability to make learning fun! COVID was tough on many kids. They fell behind and maybe never caught up to their peers. Tutoring should not be a permanent thing. I assess where your child started to have difficulty and go from there. I don't give "busy work", and my lessons are always well planned. Before COVID, I tutored nine children (word got out from the first job) and I just kept accepting more children. I am available school days and weekends. I charge $35/hr.
