I have been teaching for 28 years. I have been tutoring for 3 years. I am very patient because I realize that every student learns differently. I like tutoring because it gives the child that one on one interaction that is needed at times to bridge the learning gap. Also, many children have been robbed of a great educational foundation because of Covid! Learning online was difficult for all involved. It was challenging for many students, as well as, teachers and parents! So at the present time it seems like everyone is playing catch up, trying to secure the skills that were missed. I have taught all elementary grades up to fifth. For the past several years , I have been teaching ELA and test prep for grades 4th and 5th.
