Hi families! My name is Edreasha and I have 11 years of childcare experience. I'm a part-time mental health therapist, entrepreneur, and author. I love children, and I've always wanted a career that allows me to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

My "sitting" style can be described as Engaging, Nurturing, and Fun! I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement and teamwork, so I make it a priority to maintain open communication with both the child(ren) and the parents. We're all in this together, and although this is a job for me, I would truly love to become an extension of your family as well.

My hobbies include cooking (I can make just about anything), writing, and shopping.

Edreasha was a delight to work with! From the minute she arrived she started helping, playing with my 12 week old baby and asked all the right questions. She’s a great communicator and has a lovely warm demeanor that my son loved! Highly recommend

We were fortunate to have Edreasha as our son's babysitter for the past 3–4 months, and we can't recommend her highly enough.

From our very first meeting, we were immediately struck by her emotional intelligence. While other babysitters needed time to build a connection, Edreasha seemed to understand our son almost instantly. She met him where he was, earned his trust naturally, and always made him feel comfortable and engaged.

One of the things that stood out most was her judgment. Early on, we joined her for a trip to the playground and saw firsthand how closely she prioritized our son's safety while still allowing him to explore and have fun. Watching her interact with him gave us confidence that he would be in excellent hands even when we weren't there.

Edreasha is also thoughtful and adaptable. She doesn't simply follow a routine—she pays attention to our son's mood, energy level, and the circumstances of the day, then pivots between outdoor adventures and creative indoor activities as needed. She was consistently punctual and communicated proactively throughout every shift, so we always knew how things were going and never had to wonder if everything was okay.

Finally, we really appreciated how well she respected and reinforced our family's expectations. She was consistent about enforcing our household rules even when we weren't around, which gave us confidence that our son was receiving the same guidance and structure from her as he did from us.

Edreasha has been a wonderful caregiver, and any family would be lucky to have her.


Edreasha was so helpful for me when my baby was sick and couldn’t go into daycare. She was available on short notice and very communicative. She followed instructions well and sent me adorable photos all day to help put my mind at ease while I was at work. I’m so grateful that I was able to find and connect with her!

Edreasha was amazing with our newborn. She not only took great care of our baby overnight, but also helped us establish a schedule and shared so many helpful tips and insights as new parents. Edreasha was the first babysitter I ever hired for my daughter, and she was so supportive and understanding of my feelings and nerves. She brings a positive attitude and calm & comforting presence whenever she comes over. She is fully engaged and present with my daughter, who adores her (as do I). Our 5 month old loves Edreasha and so do we! We were initially nervous about hiring our first babysitter but we were immediately put at ease when we spoke to her on the phone and she showed up on that first evening. She has taken care of our little one a few times since then and even sends pictures and updates throughout the night. We are so glad we found her! 

Edreasha is really great! She is kind and trustworthy. She regularly comes and cares for our 11 months old twins and 6 year old girl. They all love her. And she does a great job keeping us updated throughout the evening, when we’re out. 

When searching for last minute care for our 2 year old, Edreasha reached out with her availability and was prompt & flexible. She is kind, accountable & engaging. Our child had a great time playing with her! Would hire Edreasha for our sitting needs again! 

Edreasha was amazing! She was punctual, responsive and was super friendly and engaged with the children. She was able to care for two 1 year olds, feed them and put them down for their naps.   Impressive! I would hire her again for sure.
