I interviewed Edith and offered her the job. I asked her to let me know if anything changes before her start date just to keep us all informed. After Doing a facetime interview she sent me her resume and continued to keep in contact. The day before she was supposed to meet the child and start she did not answer my phone calls or text messages. I was really looking forward to working with Edith, she seems responsible and like a great care-taker. Unfortunately, ghosting people is super unprofessional. Next time, I do hope Edith is able to better communicate.
