About Edgar

Hello! I'm Edgar and it's a pleasure to meet you and your family. Although I am a new sitter, as a former educator, I am far from inexperienced when it comes to children. Being the oldest child in my family, I am very familiar with the roles and responsibilities of a sitter from the years I spent throughout my adolescence regularly taking care of my three younger siblings at home. My background is in education, and I have worked with children and students in a variety of settings over the past 7+ years, including at summer camps, afterschool programs, middle/high schools and churches/synagogues. As such, I am skilled in the areas of caretaking and attending to the needs of children of a wide range of ages, as well as communicating closely with parents to ensure that their concerns are appropriately addressed and expectations are exceeded. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and serving you to the best of my abilities!
