About Edgar

My background is in education, and I have worked with children and students in a variety of settings over the past 7+ years, including at summer camps, afterschool programs, and middle/high schools. Although I am a new sitter, I am far from inexperienced when it comes to children. Being the oldest child in my family, I am very familiar with the roles and responsibilities of a sitter from the years I spent throughout my adolescence taking care of my three younger siblings whenever the need arose, as it so often did. I am also a teacher and have plentiful experience working with youth from elementary to high school age in numerous settings which include schools and summer camps alike. As such, I am skilled in the areas of caretaking and attending to the needs of children of a wide range of ages, from 4 to 17, as well as communicating closely with parents to ensure that their concerns are appropriately addressed and expectations are exceeded.
