About Eden

In 2020 I graduated from McGill University in Montreal, where I received my BSc with a major in mathematics and a minor in philosophy. This Spring 2024 I graduated with a MA from CUNY Graduate Center where my research interests related to mathematics education and philosophy of mathematics. As a tutor I expose learners to multiple ways of 'seeing' mathematic's concepts. Learning mathematics can be like exploring, and can be quite fun and creative. I help build the confidence to conquer any mathematics problems by establishing a true understanding of the material. I want to share my passion and understanding of mathematics and encourage learners curiosity and confidence. I also work at mathnasium in a management and instructor role. Working at mathnasium provides me further insight and experience tutoring K-12 mathematics. In my private practice my students have ranged from 1st grade to 11th. My kindness encourages their questions, leading to meaningful math conversations.
