About Edene

I have 15 years of experience in child care. I have extensive knowledge in providing long-term care for children, including social emotional learning, maintaining/ creating sleep schedules, transitioning from bottle feeding to solid foods (meal prep), changing diapers to transitioning to potty training, educating and entertaining children by reading, crafts, little (educational) to no screen time and taking them on interesting outings. My qualifications include: *Dependable, reliable and adaptable. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Maintain a safe environment by only allowing authorized persons around child as well as keeping parents informed on whereabouts and schedule changes. * Create a positive environment for learning and growth in fun, and creative ways. * Keeping parents informed on daily activities by keeping a daily journal of activities, out of the ordinary behavior and/or illness.
