About Ebony

I'd describe my personality as gentle, empathy-driven, and hard-working. I like working with kids because not only do I believe kids teach us that life is a gift in itself, but they remind us that it is imperative to keep kindness as the foundation in any and all that we do. I started working with kids when I was in my sophomore year of college. I was blessed with the opportunity to work with at-risk elementary-aged kids that were enrolled in an after-school program. My skills include patience, decision-making, and active listening. I am CPR/First Aid Certified for both children and adults, currently hold my Texas Food Handlers card, and have my own reliable transportation. In my spare time, I like to bake, read and research, detail cars, and organize clutter. I also love to garden in the warmer seasons and attend local farmers markets.
