I have also worked with children in a behavioral health setting. As a paramedic I also have a medical background and easily can learn new medical skills and am comfortable with medical procedures and ADL. I provide an encouraging and empowering atmosphere that allows children to learn and grow while also holding boundaries and fostering a safe environment. I believe in getting all children, no matter the age, outside in nature, engaging in age appropriate artistic expression, reading and learning. I know some baby sign language. I have prior experience working as a nanny for an infant and am happy to provide a reference. I am also willing to do light housekeeping, child laundry, and some errands/meal prep. D’vorah started with us in Fall 2019 to help us stay on top of weekly cleaning. Since then she has dog-sat for our pack of geriatric pups, served as our “Super Nanny” for our second child for 7 months, continued to help to keep my house sparkling with weekly visits and occasional deep cleans, and provided childcare as needed for our two young children. She is wonderful with our kids, and one of the most caring, dependable, hard-working, detail and quality-oriented people I know. We are so grateful for D'vorah and highly recommend her!
