About Dulcie

Hello! My name is Dulcie. I live in Big Canoe, Georgia, and I'm looking for a part-time senior companionship position nearby. My experience comes from caring for my mother during the last four years of her life while she lived with Parkinson's disease and dementia. Although she was in a nursing home, I visited her daily and spent a tremendous amount of time with her and many of the other residents. That time gave me a deep appreciation for the elderly and the importance of kindness, patience, and companionship. I discovered how much I truly enjoy spending time with seniors-talking, listening to their stories, doing simple crafts, decorating for holidays, taking walks, or simply sitting together so they don't feel alone. I'm the mother of four adult children and a proud grandmother. I enjoy cooking healthy meals, crafting, hiking, and spending time with dogs. I would love the opportunity to help bring comfort, conversation, and companionship to someone's day.
