In addition to being a responsible pet parent to 6 dogs and 4 cats, I have independently rescued and re-homed dogs. I am also a huge animal rescue advocate, and have volunteered for a no-kill animal sanctuary for 5 years where I grew their volunteer program, facilitated adoptions and fund-raising events, and was afforded the opportunity to work for them full-time. I love working with people and their dogs. I am seeking education to become a certified dog behaviorist. I've assisted certified trainers and have a basic knowledge of training dogs basic commands. I am also Pet CPR certified by the American Red Cross. I can provide references if needed.

I met Dottsie about 5 years ago when I was a volunteer and she became the Volunteer Coordinator. She has always shown passion and compassion for the animals making sure they were safe, well cared for and loved. Because of this, I felt comfortable allowing her into my home to care for my pets while out of town. My pets are my family and it means so much to me that I can go away and know I don't have to worry about them. I would highly recommend Dottsie to anyone who needs a loving caretaker for their pets.
