About Dorothy

I'd describe my personality as dedicated, joyful, caring, and love serving others. I'm punctual and a hard worker. Single parent of a 25-year-old, and leader of the Hospitality Ministry at church, youth ministry instructor, and administration assistance. Obtained my CNA certification July 2024. After changing jobs and careers for so many years, and caring for my mother for a year before she made her transition. I learned that my passion was taking care of others. I started my journey in 2021 working for Visiting Angels in Schererville IN. During this time I have had the pleasure of working with seniors with disabilities, alzheimer's, bathing, cooking, doctor's visits, housekeeping, keeping appointments, companionship, entertainment, things that would make life easier for them. I have also worked with children ages 0-15 for over 20 years, obtain my CDL licenses for over 10 years. However, my biggest joy is working seniors to assist them and gain wisdom as I work for them.
