I understand things can change in a blink of an eye with kids, I avoid distractions as watching TV or extreme long conversations, even with parents. My goals are kids to be safe, you have time to rest, & handle your needs without feeling you need to entertain me. I'm not nervous. I'm cautious, because I take care of some extremely ill kids, getting too relaxed leaves room for mistakes.

Thanks for the reviews.I appreciate acknowledging I completed all tasks & care for your children. Child safety is always my #1 priority.When a plan conflicts with American Academy of Pediatrics safe sleep guidance or an infant shows signs of distress, Its my ethical duty to speak up. Night nanny requires focus & minimal distraction, monitors do not alert to silent distress such as vomiting/breathing issues.So, forgive me if I do not want to watch tv with u or have deep talks. I have a job to do.

Doris was a night nanny for our family for about 1 week before we decided to let her go. Doris completed the tasks assigned to her however one night she came to work with an extremely poor attitude. We asked her if she was okay and she did not express any issues or concerns. When we tried to speak to her and ask general questions about our daughter she was short with us and at times acted as if she did not hear us speaking to her. We began to feel very uncomfortable having her in our home. Similar to another review posted, Doris often seemed nervous  although we did all we could to ensure she felt comfortable in our home. We know how important reviews are to the screening process and we want to let other families know our experience.


I had the pleasure of hiring Doris in June as a night nanny while I studied for the bar exam. Doris is truly an outstanding nanny who goes above and beyond in caring for children. From the very beginning, she was warm, kind, and professional, and my baby took to her right away.
During her time with us, she was instrumental in helping my baby establish a healthy sleep schedule, which made such a big difference in our daily life. She was also wonderful with feeding, and she patiently worked with my baby to help her feel comfortable in the bassinet. These may sound like small things, but they were life-changing for us as new parents.
What stood out most about Doris was how much she genuinely cares for children. She is attentive, nurturing, and very gentle, while also being reliable and trustworthy. I always felt completely at ease leaving my baby in her care. Her calm and loving nature created a safe and positive environment, and I could tell she truly loves what she does.
I would hire Doris again in a heartbeat. She is a 10/10 caregiver who combines skill, compassion, and dedication. Any family would be lucky to have her, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent nanny.


Doris cared for our infant for a month. She quit abruptly via text at 11pm the night before a 9am shift, with no transition plan, but a request to “split amicably”. She disagreed with our efforts to implement a gentle, pediatrician-recommended sleep routine. She had constant “nervous energy”, despite us repeatedly trying to make her feel welcome/reassured, and had a hard time navigating ambiguity. We accepted it because she clearly cared for our son, but her exit left us stunned and in a bind.

I cannot recommend Ms. Doris highly enough! She stepped in at the last minute when I needed help, and I was so impressed by how seamlessly she fit into our routine. From the moment she arrived, she jumped right in, taking the baby with such ease and confidence. She asked all the right questions about formula, diapering, and sanitation, ensuring everything was handled with care.

One of the things I love most is how she prefers engaging with the baby through play and reading, rather than just relying on screens. It is clear that she genuinely enjoys working with children. She even walked my baby around the house in the stroller, and it was the sweetest thing to watch.

Ms. Doris is timely, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable about child development. She pays attention to milestones and often points out new things my baby is learning, which I appreciate so much. She also asks about any special needs or accommodations to make sure the care she provides is personalized.

Our family feels incredibly lucky to have found Ms. Doris. We will continue to work with her for both our 7-month-old and 12-year-old daughter. If you're looking for someone who will love and care for your child like their own, Ms. Doris is the perfect fit.

Ms. Doris was AMAZING with my 10 month old. He is in a separation anxiety phase, and she was able to soothe him and try different things to keep him from crying. She was so so helpful, and I would highly recommend her! 

Doris was great! She was prompt, considerate and asked great questions about our family's needs and rules.

Very professional and she entertained my kid throughout the time when I am absent. My daughter loves her and we'd definitely prefer her for future nanny jobs if needed.

Miss Doris is amazing! We were very nervous to go into this process but very hopeful in finding the perfect sitter/nanny for our 1yr old. She’s been with us since the end of July and we love her. Our baby boy took a liking to her quickly and he enjoys every visit with her. We highly recommend Miss Doris to others who are needing someone who is kind, caring and nurturing to their little one.

Mrs. Doris has become a regular sitter for our son. She’s awesome with him! I love how she interacts with him and implements no screen time. Her communication is great as well. She has become a great asset to our family, as we do not have much family here Dallas to help with our son when we need childcare.

Hiring Mrs. Doris as our babysitter was the best decision for our date nights. She is professional, reliable, and engages wonderfully with our son, who respects and enjoys her guidance. Her proactive communication reassures us greatly. Highly recommend Mrs. Doris for her outstanding childcare!

Thank you Mrs. Doris. Mrs. Doris watched over my 6 year old and she was great!! She asked me all of the right questions regarding his health, his routine, and his likes and needs. Ms. Doris is beyond wonderful! She is so sweet, and she is great with my baby boy. We will hire her again whenever we need care four our little one. 

Mrs. Doris is flat out amazing. My child absolutely adores her, and looks forward to when she comes again. My son has autism and can sometimes be difficult, but Mrs. Doris approaches him with patience and understanding every moment during her visit. She keeps me up to date about what they are doing with pictures and text messages. Upon the end of her visit she discusses with me her suggestions for my son. You can tell she truly cares. You can’t find a better sitter than this one. 

We hired Doris for multiple days while visiting Dallas. It was my first time finding childcare on Care.com and Doris put me at ease from our first messages. She was easy to communicate with during the hiring process. Once we actually met I found Doris to be professional and also very personable. She was also very accommodating of any changing plans. More importantly my 12 month old thought she was great! He hasn't had a lot of childcare so I wasn't sure how it would go, but he took to Doris right away. Doris kept me updated about their day through lots of messages and photos and they kept very busy. If in the Dallas area again I will definitely be asking Doris if she is available and I will be highly recommending her to any friends travelling to the city. 

Doris cared for our 11 month old baby recently, and she did an excellent job. She asked all the right questions and kept our baby happy in her routine while we were away. We will reach out to Doris again when we need childcare. 

We absolutely love Doris! She is not only the best with our 3 year old son and 1.5 year old daughter, she has also watched a couple of our friends children as well, and their families feel the exact same way! We will absolutely reach out to Doris to see her availability with every event we have. Thank you again for being amazing! 

We loved Doris. She got in there and got involved! Outside time, inside time, puzzle time, dress up time, arts and crafts time, and...no TV time! We were ecstatic.  She kept our daughter safe, happy, engaged, entertained, and away from the screen. Our daugher has asked for her again and made little gifts for her. 10/10 will hire Doris again when the opportunity arises.
