About Doris

I am a confident, reliable and highly energized individual. Kids keep a person young with their curiosity, eagerness to learn and they are fun to be with. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have fun, share in a child's achievements and observe the child's growth. About 11 years ago, I watched 3 boys for over a year 2 days a week. In 2017, I started babysitting a little girl at 6 weeks old 3 days a week up until she was 4 1/2. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, exercising, walking, riding bike, participating in adult classes at the library: bingo, painting and exercise classes. I live on 1/3 of an acre. I sweep my curb and keep the lawn looking good. I plant in the spring. I help a friend out who has Parkinson's. I go to the movies with friends or out to dinner. About 3 months ago, my bedroom needed a paint job so I did it. One thing you should know about me is that I am a trustworthy person. My skills include being organized, creative and patient.
