I'm seeking a postpartum doula position. As part of the certification program I'm required to have 3 families with children from 0-4 months old review my care. My background has been as a mother/baby, pediatric, NICU registered nurse as well as lactation consultant for the last 20 years. Services include surgical/natural recovery assistance, lactation support, infant care, light housekeeping, some meal prep. My goal is to provide what your family needs to recover without complications and leave you feeling confident, well rested and on a great breastfeeding path, if that's your choice. I prefer late/overnight shifts but am flexible. Length of service is also flexible. If you've had a complicated delivery due to PIH, diabetes or infant illness it may require some extra time to recover physically and mentally. Thank you so much for your consideration.
