About Dorcas

I'd describe my personality as effective, understanding, responsible and sincere. I like caring for seniors because I'm passionate about helping those who need it most. I like to sit down and listen and laugh with them. I'm looking for a job that allows me contribute my knowledge and care for those that I am with. I prefer to communicate in Spanish, but my English classes are helping. I started caring for seniors when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago and I was her primary caregiver for 6 years. I helped with maintaining and disinfecting her house and living spaces. Most importantly, making sure her health was well and medications were administered properly. I am also available to help with housekeeping, laundry. A few things you should know about me is I am a friendly person, willing to learn and listen, a believer in God and eager to help. My skills include cooking, cleaning and crafts.
