About Donna

My name is Donna, I'm a 54yr old retired RN residing in NW Phila. I have 15 years experience in a variety of clinical settings; emergency department, medical surgical, postpartum, nursery, pediatrics, long term care, home care and hospice. During my tenure as an RN I had advanced critical care training, trauma care certified and additional certifications. I'm comfortable providing or assisting with all aspects of care including bathing, feeding, transfer techniques, follow PT exercise, meal preparation, light housework , companionship, assistance with office work (email, texts, computer skills, filing), appointments and transportation. I also have experience with NG, PEG(G) and J tubes, as well as feeding techniques for those with issues swallowing issues. I'm a fun caregiver, like to promote independence and safety. I know that active listening is a key to communication. I'm available for evenings, weekends or as needed. References available upon request. Rates are negotiable.
