About Donna

I know Donna for about two years. During that time she has taken care of my dog ~ 2 weekends/month, and 3-5 nights/week. Since we also share living quarters, I have come to know Donna well, and I offer myself as a character reference for her. In my dealings with Donna I've found her to be highly reliable, observant, insightful, cheerful, and kind in her dealings with both people and animals. She is able to "read" my dog, decide whether he is hungry, bored, or wanting attention and treat him accordingly. When she spends the weekend with him, I know she will walk and feed him at the proper time (early, when it's cool) and she can tell me if he seemed happy or whether he was tired, hot, or itchy. She is enthusiastic about what she is doing, and easily keeps the big picture in mind. She reminds me that I'm about to run out of dog food or that it's time to trim my dog's hair before the heat. My dog loves and trusts her and often asks her to "translate" his requests to me! In her dealings with me, she has always been warm, forthright, and considerate. She can tell when I'm feeling sociable or withdrawn, and gives me company when I crave it, or space when I need it. She always pays her rent ton time, and is considerate of my space and belongings. She always listens to whatever problems I bring before her, and tactfully offers solutions that take both logic and feelings into account. She is friendly and supportive of the people she comes in contact with, and helps them direct their efforts towards achievable goals. In my opinion, Donna is an asset to any work environment or service group!
