About Donna

I am a nurse by profession for over 20 years, as well as an experienced nanny with excellent references by request. I have experience with children newborn through 7 years old. As a nurse, I have always wanted to provide quality care and attention to all I have had in my care. The same applies to the children that I care for. I especially love working with children, as it affords me the opportunity to be a positive contributor to the child's growth and development. I am young at heart and very energetic. I enjoy the outdoors, weather permitting. I feel it's an important element to a child's growth to introduce them to nature and the world around them. I am always looking for new methods of teaching to keep up with our ever changing world. I am organized, responsible and very capable to not only keep your little one's safe and cared for but also to help keep your home run smoothly. As someone's employee I am respectful of each families privacy. I have always tried to help raise the children I've cared for in the manner in which the parent's want the children to learn. It is my responsibility to follow those guidelines unless otherwise told to do something different. Raising children is multi-faceted and you need to be someone who can bring all of these facets into play each and every day. Learning through play, practice and patience has always been my focus.
