About Donna

Hello! My name is Donna, and I am a retired Navy Veteran (20 years of service) and an experienced educator based in Maryland. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work, and BS in Child and Adolescent Studiies. My diverse background allows me to support families in two unique ways: * Companion Care: Following my military career, I spent consecutive years providing dedicated, full-time care for both my younger sister and my mother until their passing. I am happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and sharing my creative hobbies of gardening and jewelry making. * Tutoring & Youth Mentorship: I spent over four years working in public schools, serving as a Substitute Teacher for Anne Arundel County, Maryland Public Schools and a Permanent Substitute Teacher at Brooklyn Park Elementary. I specialize in helping students build confidence, improve study habits, and stay organized across subjects.
