About Donna

Fostering a child's growth and development has been my lifelong passion for the past 20 years. My graduate degree in Family and Child Development from Virginia Tech allows me to provide informed, high-quality care for children of all ages. I hold current CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications to ensure a safe environment at all times. I've worked with kids of all ages. I was a foster mom for newborns for several years, and taught preschool and college! Most recently I worked with teens in a foster group home. I still work as an adoption caseworker as well so I've had every CPS, FBI, GBI and offender check there is! I am a patient, calm, and approachable caregiver who enjoys outdoor sports, reading with your child, and playing educational games. I am comfortable enforcing your household rules and am happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping. I'm a good swimmer, and was once a lifeguard and water safety instructor.
