About Dominique

I have 16 years of hands-on experience as a pet owner to two dogs and two cats. I also volunteered for one year at the Humane Society as both a dog walker-handling walking, cleanup, brushing, and light training-and as a clinic assistant, supporting vet techs with surgical prep, post-operative monitoring, and the cleaning and sterilization of surgical tools. I've additionally volunteered with a small wolf-dog rescue, helping with kennel cleaning, supply transport, and animal exercise. My experience includes caring for elderly, sick, skittish, and multi-pet households. When I'm not doting on my own cat or caring for others' pets, you'll probably find me sharing missing-pet posts on Nextdoor. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own.
