My entire professional career has been in aging services, in progressively challenging roles: recreation, management, administration and now policy/ advocacy work. I've personally cared for both of my aging parents - one left paralyzed by a stroke, and the other with vascular dementia - for over 20 years. I've had extensive training in dementia care, CPR and first aid. Aging service is my calling and passion.

Great care and compassion has been given to my Mom with personal hygiene assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping, to name a few tasks.
