Hello! My name is Divya and I look forward to working with your family and child to foster a love for learning. I am an experienced educator and childcare professional, with over four years of working and volunteer experience. I specialize in Science, Math, English, Art (Painting, Crafts, and Sewing) and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. Through my science teaching credential program and teaching experiences, I have developed strong lesson planning skills, incorporating interactive inquiry-based and hands-on activities for students. I have a patient, supportive, and calm teaching approach, building upon students' strengths and interests to provide engaging instruction. I believe in establishing an open line of communication with parents to best support child and ensure their growth and enjoyment when learning.
