About Dior

Hello! I'm Dior. I am a full-time data analyst, but I have been tutoring math part time for the last 8 years. I have tutored math subjects ranging from 3rd grade math up to 9th grade. Most recently I have become a tutor on the Wyzant platform, where I offer tutoring in elementary math and prealgebra. I am very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about math comprehension, and I do my best to translate that in my lessons. Furthermore, I try to make math a fun learning experience by tailoring my teaching style to the learning style and interests of the student. I have taken a number of high level math courses, but its without saying that primary math is essential for all math concepts that follow, and a great teacher/tutor can unlock a child's potential and love for it. To this day, I credit my second-grade math teacher with my love for math; he would use games, candy, and other creative methods to make math fun and approachable. I hope to have the same impact with your children.
