I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dionysia and I have 18+ years of teaching experience in Elementary Education. My educational and work experience has given me helpful exposure to the variety of daily needs of children. My teaching experiences include teaching 2nd - 6th grade, mentoring new teachers in New York and teaching in a Gifted classroom setting. For the past five years, I have taught students in a 3rd- 6th multi-age classroom setting. I have designed and implemented authentic Differentiated Interdisciplinary Units and skilled in Project Based. I have received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-9) from National Louis University and an endorsement in Psychology (2000). I graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University in NYC and received my Master's Degree in Giftedness Education (2003). I love teaching because I believe that all children can learn. I believe that learning should take place through inquiry, exploring and experience
