About Dion

Hello, My name is Dion, and I am currently attending The University of North Texas, majoring in psychology . My goal is to become either a child or a marriage counselor, and I have gained valuable experience working with children in various settings. Growing up, I often babysat for families in my community, which provided me with early experience in caring for children. Whether it was helping with homework, preparing meals, or keeping the kids entertained, these responsibilities helped me develop strong caregiving skills. In high school, I completed an internship at an elementary school, where I was responsible for teaching children their lessons for the day. Following that, I worked in an after-school program, ensuring that the children completed their homework, had dinner, and enjoyed playtime once their tasks were finished. These experiences have given me firsthand exposure to working with children in educational and caregiving environments.
