My name is Diomelyn; however, I normally go by my nickname Joy. I've been a caregiver for 18 years and for the past 15 years I had two long term clients. The first was for 5 years and the second is for 11 years. I love being a caregiver as I enjoy helping people and at the same time I like hearing people's life stories that they want to share with me. I'm very energetic, a good conversationalist, and I feel good when I make my clients smile or laugh. Joy is the best caregiver that I have ever had. She is bright, articulate, caring, compassionate, hard working, supportive and encouraging. She is an excellent communicator, displays remarkable patience, demonstrates strong problem solving skills, empathy and positivity. She took care of my wife who had Glioblastoma for just about one year and simply put she made an unbearable situation bearable.
