I like caring for seniors because I enjoy making them happy with good conversation and company. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and to be able to know I'm making a difference in a persons day to day life. I started caring for seniors when my father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2018. I became his primary caregiver and in 2020 I expanded my services to seniors in my town. In my spare time, I like to focus on my small business. I've had a food stand for over 30 years that I devote my free time to. I also enjoy reading, cooking and walking. One thing you should know about me is that I am dependable and honest. I understand the fear of leaving a parent or loved one with a stranger. That's why I make it my job to build trust with families and let them get to know me on a personal level. My skills include medication management, transportation, and communication.

I'd give Dina more stars if I could. She cared for my aging parents during the very worst of times, and I considered finding her nothing short of a miracle. She was flexible with all things, did whatever was needed, and gave so many extra special touches caring for my parents. My mother dealt mostly with Dina (Dad had to be moved into Skilled Nursing multiple times), and felt she was like a friend to her. As the daughter, I felt such a sense of relief, on the days Dina came, because I knew Dina had a handle on things. Her empathy, friendliness, compassion and true willingness to be helpful in all things just comes naturally for her.
